Senegalese e-health startup Eyone has successfully secured $1 million in funding to solidify its position as a leader in the e-health sector and broaden its presence across the African continent.

The company’s standout innovation is a medical interoperability platform designed to provide seamless access to real-time medical records for both healthcare professionals and patients. This platform aims to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of healthcare services across the region.

Earlier this year, Eyone partnered with Senegalese authorities to launch the Unique Shared Patient File project, a groundbreaking initiative designed to ensure secure and seamless access to medical data throughout a patient’s care journey.

The startup recently raised $1 million in funding, which includes $855,000 from the Sonatel Group’s investment fund, VIF, and $145,000 from BICIS. With this funding, Eyone plans to strengthen its position in the digital health sector and accelerate its expansion across Africa.

Eyone is committed to improving healthcare quality and expanding access to medical services, particularly for underserved populations. The startup addresses the growing demand for reliable digital health solutions in Africa, aiming to transform how healthcare is delivered across the continent.

The Sonatel Group emphasized its dedication to supporting innovative solutions that tackle critical healthcare challenges, highlighting Eyone’s role in leveraging technology to improve health outcomes throughout Africa.
