One of Africa’s foremost fintech infrastructure and Banking-as-a-Service providers Qore, held the third edition of its flagship conference, Nexus 2025, on November 20 at Jewel Aeida in Lagos. The gathering underscored Qore’s growing reputation as a trusted partner delivering secure, scalable and compliant digital banking infrastructure for financial institutions across the continent.

Centred on the theme “Infrastructure for Prosperity: Building the Rails for Africa’s Credit Revolution,” Nexus 2025 convened leaders from commercial and microfinance banks, fintech innovators, regulators, technology partners and key ecosystem players. The conference examined how modern infrastructure, stronger credit systems and deeper collaboration can drive economic growth and widen financial inclusion across Africa.

Mr. Baiyen (Roc), Managing Director of Huawei Cloud Business in Nigeria, emphasized the crucial role of resilient cloud architecture, robust security and local data residency in shaping the future of digital banking and responsible credit delivery. Attendees also participated in practical deep-dive sessions covering digital banking transformation, modern core banking systems, cloud infrastructure, compliance, payment scheme readiness and emerging models for ethical and sustainable digital lending.

These conversations built on Qore’s longstanding track record of powering more than 600 financial institutions and processing billions of transactions annually through its unified platform. The event also highlighted the ecosystem partnerships accelerating digital transformation across the continent. Huawei Technologies, the Headline Sponsor, reaffirmed its dedication to strengthening ICT infrastructure for Africa’s financial sector. Other partners Digicore, eTranzact, Bluecode and Zone joined banking leaders to discuss new partnership models, share insights and identify scalable growth opportunities across the credit value chain.

Nexus is more than a conference, it is a catalyst for innovation,” said Emeka Emetarom, CEO of Qore. “This year, we highlighted how robust credit infrastructure can drive prosperity across Africa. Our Recova solution is central to this mission, enhancing credit appraisal, improving collections, and enabling institutions to lend with confidence. As more organizations modernize their systems, we remain committed to providing the technology that supports sustainable growth and responsible lending.”

As Africa’s financial services sector continues to evolve rapidly, Nexus 2025 further cemented Qore’s leadership in developing compliant, resilient, and future-ready digital ecosystems. The insights gained and partnerships forged during the event are expected to shape strategies for credit innovation, infrastructure modernization, and financial inclusion across the continent in the years ahead.
